Application Resources
Consult these details as you send materials to complete your UWF transfer application (for students with 12 or more credit hours after high school).
Review Your Application Status Checklist
Submitting your application is the beginning of the application process. You must also send all items required to complete your application file. Once your application file is complete, it will be reviewed for admissions consideration.
About 1-2 business days after you submit your application, you will receive an email with your UWF ID and access to your application status. Your application status includes a checklist of items you must submit to complete your application. Follow the instructions on this page for sending required items.

Questions?
If you have questions about submitting application fee payment or an application fee waiver, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at admissions@uwf.edu or 850.474.2230.
Freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 30 college credit hours are required to send ACT, SAT, and/or CLT (Classic Learning Test) test scores. Students with 30-59 college credit hours are not required to send test scores.
Students need to contact ACT.org (ACT), Collegeboard.com (SAT), or Classic Learning Initatives, LLC (CLT) directly and request all score results to be sent to UWF. All ACT test scores are sent to the Florida Board of Regents and not directly to UWF. UWF receives the test scores from this entity, so we are unable to access individual student scores from the Encoura Data Lab. Students must request their ACT scores be sent via the formal process.
UWF School Codes
- ACT: 0771
- SAT: 5833
Receipt time: For previous results, please allow five to seven business days for your scores to be received to your application after you have submitted your formal request for your test scores to be sent to UWF. For new results, please allow four to six weeks after your test date for results to be received to your application. Please verify that UWF is on the list of schools to receive your scores when they are released.
You must request official transcripts* be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions from your high school and every college and university attended.
Receipt time: UWF receives your transcripts about five to seven business days after you submit a formal transcript request to the institution(s) you have attended.
High School Transcript
Freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 30 college credit hours are required to send high school transcripts. Students with 30-59 college credit hours are not required to send high school transcripts.
Upon graduation, you must provide your official high school transcript with the date your diploma was conferred.
Contact your high school records office to request that your high school transcript be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions. We also accept official high school transcripts that are faxed or emailed, but only if they are sent directly from the high school.
Your high school can send your official transcript via:
- Fax: 850.474.3360
- Email: admissions@uwf.edu
- Mail: UWF Undergraduate Admissions, 11000 University Parkway, Building 18, Pensacola, FL 32514
Attention, Florida public high school graduates: If sending transcripts through the state electronic system (FASTER), your high school transcript DOES NOT include ACT/SAT test scores. Please contact ACT or SAT to have previous testing results sent to UWF.
Home-school transcript: If you are a home-schooled student, you will still need to send a home-school high school transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. You can get started using a template.
College Transcripts
Contact the Records/Registrar's Office from all previously attended colleges/universities to request that transcript(s) be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions.
Colleges can send official transcripts via:
- Electronic submission from Florida public institutions
- Email: admissions@uwf.edu
- Mail: UWF Undergraduate Admissions, 11000 University Parkway, Building 18, Pensacola, FL 32514
*Transcripts or academic records bearing the statement "Issued to Student," submitted by the applicant, or faxed by the applicant are not considered official. All transcripts become the sole property of the University. If necessary, request that your current name and Social Security Number be added to the transcript.
Optional items, such as an essay, letter of reference, or resume, can be emailed to admissions@uwf.edu.

Please Note Regarding Forms
In accordance with the requirements of Florida law (Section 119.071, Florida Statutes), the University of West Florida collects Social Security Numbers only if specifically authorized or required by law or if imperative for the performance of the University’s duties and responsibilities. As indicated in this form, the University prefers that you use your Student ID number in lieu of the SSN. However, if you do not know your Student ID, the SSN must be used for matching purposes. In such event the use of the SSN is a business imperative and is authorized for collection under Section 119.071(5)(a)(2)(a)(II), F.S. Please visit The Office of Registrar's website for UWF’s policy on the use of Social Security Numbers.
