Mai Dinh, B.A.

Biography

After serving as the Outreach Graduate Assistant for Counseling and Psychological Services, I am excited to join the team as a Pre-Master’s Intern! Before UWF, I earned a B.A. from Georgia State University in Political Science. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in mental health because I want to help people not just survive but truly thrive in their lives.

I appreciate therapeutic approaches that emphasize insight and understanding the deeper meaning of things while acknowledging the qualities that make us human. I believe that change happens when an individual allows themselves to become fully immersed in their emotions while experiencing those emotions from a compassionate and non-judgmental perspective. I hope to help clients gain a deeper awareness of their inner world and skills to help them feel more fulfilled in their lives and become their most authentic selves.

This year, I’m looking forward to all the amazing opportunities that lie ahead!
