What You Will Learn

After completing foundational courses in biology and chemistry, you will learn the building blocks of laboratory science in both classroom—and of course—lab settings. You will study hematology, diagnostic microbiology, clinical chemistry, blood banking and more. Strengthen essential workplace skills like teamwork, independence, multi-tasking and communication.

Graduates prepare for a career in a number of exciting laboratory settings. In addition to traditional medical laboratories, you will be ready to work in areas like toxicology, assisted reproductive technology, crime investigation, gene therapy and other emerging fields.
