Biography

Samantha Jeffries serves as the Social Media and Public Relations Manager, where she manages the University’s social media strategy, writes and edits content and manages public relations activities. In this role, she will lead and develop brand specific content to maintain UWF’s social media presence.

Samantha earned bachelor’s degrees in communication studies and sports communications with a focus on broadcast and electronic media and public relations at Campbell University in North Carolina. Before joining the Institutional Communications team, Samantha worked as a Digital Content Producer for WEAR - News Channel 3 in Pensacola. In this role, she created content for a variety of platforms to showcase reporter stories to different audiences and wrote stories for the website.

Samantha is a military spouse who moved to Pensacola in 2021 with her husband and puppy. In her leisure time she enjoys trail hikes and exploring new places in Florida.
