Athletics
Each donor to the Argonaut Athletic Club can elect to make a gift to athletics that best suits his or her personal preference and interest.
You may designate your gift to "athletics" which is the best way to support all UWF athletic programs, or your gift may be designated to any West Florida athletics fund or intercollegiate teams. Please note, all benefits associated with each specific giving level are automatically accepted by the donor unless declined in writing to the UWF Foundation.
The UWF Argonaut Athletic Club is a direct support organization of the University of West Florida. All donations will be accepted by the University of West Florida Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law in the amount it exceeds the fair market value of any goods or services received.
All credit card donations are subject to a nominal credit card fee. This fee will be subtracted from the amount of your gift.
Effective January 1, 2018, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 prohibits a charitable deduction for college athletic event seating rights. Therefore, these contributions are no longer accepted through the UWF Foundation. Any gifts directly received by the Foundation will still be accepted as a charitable donation without seating rights. Our priority point system is currently being revised to accommodate this new tax law. Please be on the lookout for upcoming correspondence regarding these changes. *Please note, membership payments must be completed before your benefits will be sent to you, and the membership period ends on June 30 of each year. All benefits associated with each specific giving level are automatically accepted by the donor unless declined in writing to the UWF Foundation. A declining of benefits is irrevocable for the current UWF Foundation fiscal year.
