In an effort to assist small businesses recover from Hurricane Irma, the Florida SBDC Network dispatched two mobile assistance centers (MACs) to communities impacted by the disaster. The MACs are equipped with tools and resources needed to deal with post-disaster challenges and provide no-cost consulting for affected businesses wanting to apply for state and federal disaster loans.
Six registered nurses, all of whom are part of Baptist Hospital nursing residents program that is for nurses with less than one year’s experience on the job, attended the seminar.

The Division of Research and Strategic Innovation held its first retreat Oct. 16 at the University of West Florida Conference Center in Pensacola.
