The following three tabs provide essential information to university employees.
Due to Hurricane Irma, the university is officially closed from 12:01 a.m. Friday, September 8 through to 11:59 p.m. Monday, September 11.
The University Controller’s Office will process the payroll as scheduled on Monday, September 11. Online timesheets and leave reports for the August 27 to September 9 pay period should be submitted and approved electronically no later than 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 11.
All University Work Force employees that submit time sheets should indicate Administrative Leave for hours they were normally scheduled to work during the period of the closing.
Those University Work Force non-exempt hourly essential employees (these employees were contacted and required to work during the closing by their supervisors) working during the closing should also indicate special compensatory leave earned for the hours actually worked during the closing.
Additional instructions for time and leave reporting during the closure are located on the Human Resources website under News & Announcements.
The University of West Florida is closed due to projected severe weather from 12:01 AM, Friday, September 8, 2017, through 11:59 PM Monday, September 11, 2017.
