Student Perspective

“My experience in the UWF MBA Program gave me the knowledge needed to win the title of ‘Grand Champion’ in the Best Strategy Invitational. In this competition, I competed against nine student teams from Florida, Alabama, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Canada and more to successfully grow an athletic footwear company. Student teams must first win the Best Strategy Game, a class competition hosted at their respective institutions, to be invited to the international game. Dr. Lawlor encourages a cutthroat, competitive atmosphere in the class competition to make it just as challenging as the international game. I loved the challenge in class, and that is what pushed me to compete on an international level.” — David Brinson, MBA Graduate

Faculty Perspective

"The MBA program at UWF is designed to prepare students for success in their careers once they leave the halls of our facilities. To accomplish this, many of our MBA courses focus on solving real world business problems through either experiential learning or case study analysis. Further, while our instructors are extremely well qualified academically, many of them have extensive business experience that they bring to the classroom which serves to enhance student learning and engagement." — Dr. John Batchelor, Assistant Professor
