Eleven finance and MBA students from the University of West Florida College of Business recently visited New York to get an inside glimpse at the world of finance. Students met with representatives from Morgan Stanley and toured the Federal Reserve and the New York Stock Exchange to learn about the investment and finance market. Learn more >

available online 

The fourth edition of ArgoVerge, the student-led magazine covering UWF, is now available online. This edition takes an insightful look at UWF sports, profiles a prominent alumnus and current professor, and provides a humorous look at "Rate My Professor.”


UWF Innovation Institute launches
Center for Cybersecurity

UWF Innovation Institute recently launched the Center for Cybersecurity, providing a hub for research on cybersecurity and opportunities for students to move into high-demand career fields through collaborative partnerships. The Center will promote a pipeline of academic programs and certificates that are deeply connected to the Northwest Florida technology community and industry. Learn more > Online financial tool 
and resource for graduate students is a new website designed to help students make informed financial decisions about their education and future careers. Based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the National Science Foundation and the National Center for Education Statistics, was researched, designed and developed by the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) in collaboration with TIAA-CREF. Along with median debt and income data, the website also provides students with loan repayment advice, spending tips, and career guidance.
