Our Mission

Student wellness is our top priority. We care about our students and want to ensure that Argos are living their best lives. ArgoWell's mission is to make the healthy choice the easy choice for the UWF community. This initiative stemmed from Healthy Campus 2020, a national effort by the American College Health Association to improve overall health on college campuses nationwide. By aligning with these national efforts, UWF utilizes best practices and data sources to prioritize health on our campus.

Your Dimensions of Wellness, Take the Quiz

There's more to wellness than just eating healthy and exercising. True wellness is a holistic integration of eight interdependent dimensions of well-being (see below). Dedicating time to nurture each area can be beneficial to your overall health. Neglecting any of these areas can adversely affect your health, well-being or quality of life. Take the ArgoWell quiz to learn more about each wellness dimension and identify how you rank in each category.

Wellness means so much more than physical health, weight management, nutrition and exercise. True wellness is a holistic integration of eight interdependent dimensions of well-being: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual wellness. Dedicating time to nurture each area can be beneficial to your overall health. Neglecting any of these areas can adversely effect your health, well-being or quality of life.
