Highest Honors

Our Beta Gamma Sigma chapter earned recognition from the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society as a Highest Honors Chapter for the 2021-2022 academic year, which is the highest distinction possible for BGS chapters.

To celebrate this achievement, our chapter will be recognized at Beta Gamma Sigma events, social media, and publications such as the recognition of excellence program distributed to business school deans from around the world at AACSB's International Conference & Meeting, additional AACSB events including conferences and seminars held throughout the year.

Highest Honors status means our chapter is eligible to be considered for the outstanding chapter of the year award.

Service Project

On November 15, 2022, Entrepreneurship Day, the UWF chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma read children’s books to preschool children in the UWF Educational Research Center for Child Development. As a business honor society, the goal of the Beta Gamma Sigma service project was to introduce to children business themes that included entrepreneurship, teamwork, and the supply chain. Beta Gama Sigma Vice President of Service Nicholas Jarrett organized the project. Three Beta Gamma Sigma members participated in the event.
