Information to be admitted into the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program
The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program is a limited access program. The program accepts two student cohorts per year, beginning in January and in May. Many of our students transfer with an AA or BS from another college. The pre-requisite courses can be found here. We like to talk with you personally, and make a degree plan. Contact Dr. Kristina Behan email@example.com by email, and send your unofficial transcript for evaluation.
If you are a transfer student, or working toward a second bachelor’s degree, you must be accepted to the University of West Florida as a Clinical Laboratory Sciences major. The application is online at http://uwf.edu/admissions/. Admission to the university does not constitute admittance to the program.
Candidates must complete the pre-requisites with a 2.8 GPA or higher, and each pre-requisite course must be completed with a minimum grade of “C”. You will electronically submit your application to the CLS program and have 3 references (2 from science professors) forwarded to the program, using the reference form below. Formal interviews are held twice a year. Applicants will be notified of the dates of the interviews.
