Welcome to the Center for Academic Success

The Center for Academic Success provides collaborative student support services designed to empower students to become independent and active learners who thrive at UWF and achieve their academic goals.

First Year Advising

Freshman, First-Time-in-College, and Undeclared students are assigned to a specific advisor in First Year Advising to assist with academic goal setting, degree planning, and initial course registration before being transitioned to academic advisors in the major departments.

Tutoring & Learning Resources

Tutoring & Learning Resources provides learning and study skills development and subject-based tutoring free to UWF students.

Student Accessibility Resources

Student Accessibility Resources offers a variety of accommodations and services for students with documented disabilities including learning disabilities, deaf/hard of hearing, blind/low vision, mobility limitations, ADHD, psychiatric, and medical conditions.

Testing Services

Testing Services administers UWF accommodated, proctored, and make-up exams, as well as examinations required for admission to colleges, graduate and professional schools, and many other specialty professional examinations for certificates and licensure.
