Victim's Advocate


A victim advocate will be contacted to respond to the needs of victims of crimes. Advocates are available to assist victims with the emotional, physical, and financial trauma often resulting from a crime. A victim advocate can provide for the following:

  • 24 hour availability
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Personal Advocacy
  • Community information and referrals
  • Emotional Support
  • Court Accompaniment
  • Transportation
  • Assistance with crime compensation
  • Information about the criminal justice system
  • Case status updates
  • Assistance in filing Petitions for Protection from abuse and repeat violence
