Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)

Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located in several buildings on campus as well as all UWF Police vehicles

Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) have been placed in several buildings across campus, as well as each UWF police patrol vehicle. Please take time to locate them and view the Red Cross AED training video.

Remember, the first step is to call 911, then open the case and follow the directions. Once you open the carry case, the system will provide voice and text prompts to guide you. The system will not deliver a shock unless it is necessary.

AEDs are located in many buildings on campus. Each UWF Police patrol vehicle has an AED device as well.
