Lyft Safe Ride Program

UWF is giving you a Lyft this semester. How is this possible, you ask? An SGA president had a great idea. What if students could get a little help enjoying local nightlife responsibly? Ridesharing with a discount, maybe? Enter Lyft. SGA asked Parking and Transportation Services to support the effort, and they did. This semester, Argos are being offered substantial Lyft discounts – $10 per ride, up to 100 rides per person.

Get Started

Download the Lyft app and create an account using your UWF student email, and use code UWFFall2018. This account is not linked to your myUWF login so, for security reasons, we recommend you use a different password than the one you use for your Argonet ID.

How It Works

Enjoy Pensacola responsibly with $10 off each Lyft ride Thursday-Sunday, 8 p.m.-4 a.m., within the designated discount zone.

Are there any limits to this offer?

Each student can use up to 100 discounted rides. This deal cannot be redeemed for cash or future discounts. The Fall 2018 Lyft program ends on December 16, 2018, or until funds are exhausted.

Can I still use Lyft on other days without my 100 rides being affected?

Yes, you can use Lyft outside of this program's set times. The discount won't apply, so it won't count toward your 100 rides.

I already have a Lyft account. Will the code work with a pre-existing account?

Only if your current account was created using your UWF student email.

What happens if my ride is less than $10?

Your ride will be free to you and will count toward your 100 rides.
